Nude Beach: Captain's Bay, Anguilla
Captain’s Bay, Anguilla
All of the beaches on Anguilla are public and on the island topless and nude sunbathing is not permitted. However there are no lifeguards or security guards on the beaches. The isolated Captain’s Bay on Anguilla’s northeastern shore is accessed via a narrow dirt and gravel road and its lack of easy access makes it the island’s unofficial nude (read: illegal) sunbathing spot.
Rough surf and a strong undertow mean this is largely a sunbathing only beach. There are no restrooms or other facilities on the beach. Bring everything you think you’ll need (and then some) with you for your day at the beach. Beach hats, a beach umbrella, a cooler stocked with food and drink, sunscreen, chairs, and towels are all necessities, as well as a trash bag to pack out your garbage.
