The overwater bungalows, decked out in contemporary Polynesian style, feature private porches with ladders into the lagoon, luxurious rain showers and claw foot tubs in the bathroom, and glass viewing panels in the floor to watch the sea.

The resort is highly accessible both in public spaces and in rooms, something that may not always be the case with all overwater bungalow resorts. A business center, meeting rooms, babysitting services, and salon services are all available to enhance your stay.

Free WiFi across the resort means you can ‘gram from the resort’s white sand beach or while you’re taking one of the resort’s cultural classes in pareo (sarong) tying, flower lei making, or Polynesian cooking. Explore the island of Moorea with a 4x4 safari tour or take advantage of one of the many other excursions the resort offers.

Snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding all included, so there’s plenty of activity to pass the time if you want to do something other than snorkeling and sunning on your overwater bungalow’s private deck. But hey, we won’t judge if that’s all you do for your entire trip. You’re on vacation!

Dining options are plentiful, but the highlight is the innovative overwater bar, Toatea Creperie & Bar. The only one of its kind in French Polynesia, the overwater bar also features indulgent cocktails and perfect sunset views.

Themed dinners include a Barbecue Buffet on Wednesday, complete with a Polynesian fire dance show, and a Tropical Buffet on Saturday, complete with a Polynesian dance show. Bespoke dining experiences on the beach can be arranged. On Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the resort celebrates with a special Gala Buffet.

Inclusive packages that include a meal plan are available for your convenience.

Enjoy a treatment in the Moorea Lagoon Spa. Inspired by the lushness of Moorea all massage treatments use Monoi oil, a sacred oil once reserved for ancestral Polynesian nobility. Monoi is an infused oil made from soaking Tiare (Tahitian gardenias) petals in coconut oil and it’s extremely hydrating for the skin and hair. Individual and couple’s treatments are available.

From the simple to the extravagant, the staff at Hilton Moorea can make your wedding dreams come true. Don a traditional flower lei and crown while a Polynesia priest leads you through your vows or arrive at your ceremony via Polynesian canoe to incorporate local traditions. Professional hair, make-up, floral, and photography services are available. Weddings in the Islands of Tahiti are legally binding in the US, providing the necessary documents are completed.
